Case Study:
Ology Custom Leadership Program
Who: Ology, an ambitious, innovative UK business with an expanding network of internal franchisees.
Challenge: To develop the coaching expertise of their franchisees in a way that integrates with their consulting expertise. Ology sought to partner with a company that possessed global capability and high credibility in the coaching profession.
How: Adler International Learning worked with the three principals to create a custom designed business coaching program with learning that was relevant, practical and could be easily applied in the Ology context. The design would leverage Adler’s ICF accredited Coaching Certificate Program and through customization, it would to meet the unique needs of Ology.
Results: Adler International Learning created a basic coaching program for Ology’s internal coaches that contained customized links to Ology's business methodology. Today, the program is embedded in Ology’s franchisee training. Such franchisees are now better equipped to take initiative and achieve success. In addition, Ology now has a focus for embracing the “culture” they were attempting to create.

Case Study:
Scotiabank Custom Leadership Program
Who: Scotiabank, Canada’s largest international bank with over 45,000 employees; a full service financial institution that includes personal banking, commercial banking and investment/wealth management.
Challenge: Strengthen the skills of executives and senior managers in Scotiabank’s Commercial Banking division in developing their people. Organization saw the need to have better relationships and better conversations that would lead to better results.
How: Based on completing an assessment of their needs, Adler custom designed a coaching program for senior Executives, Vice-presidents and Directors using the Positive Change program as the basis. Adler then designed an internal Train the Trainer certification that enabled Scotiabank trainers/facilitators to continue to be able to deliver the program nationally to both current and future leaders in the division.
Results: Scotiabank was the 2004 recipient of the prestigious PRISIM award , which is awarded to organizations who have demonstrated enhanced excellence and business achievement through their commitment to coaching as a leadership strategy that delivers bottom line results. The success of the program spread to other areas of the bank such as Executive Office & Shared Services, and Scotia Intek, Scotia Wealth. The impact continues as the program is now part of Scotiabank’s on-going learning curriculum.
Positive Change program results include:

Increased employee engagement (e.g. in two years Scotia Leasing’s results moved from 66% to 91% in employee engagement and satisfaction).
